6. How long does the whole process take?

The whole process has two stages:

In the first stage, we prove that you had a hidden discretionary fee, therefore you qualify to recover the interest. This stage generally takes between 2 days and 2 months, usually. If you do not qualify, we refund you the entire fee under our guarantee.

In the second stage, the exact calculations are made of how much interest you have paid in excess and how much you have to recover. This stage lasts between 6 and 12 months. At this point, some clarifications are also expected from the FCA.

8. If I no longer know the name of the funder, is there anything I can do?

Yes. You have at least 3 possibilities to find out the name of the financier. If you don't fit into any of them, schedule a phone call (there is a button on the website) and one of our colleagues will help you. First, check your bank statements (in the bank's app). If you don't have them anymore or you don't have the bank account anymore, check your credit score report. Use a free app like ClearScore and you can see exactly which financiers you had. If that still doesn't work, ask the car dealer. If that still doesn't work, contact us and we'll see what we can do. Don't pay for the service if you don't know the name of the financier.
